SwissGenealogy.com's Research Library in Worb, Switzerland

This professional genealogist''s library of over 12,000 volumes has been assembled over more than forty years, beginning in 1962. The majority of genealogical works ever published in the world have been published on American records and in English, a fact which is fully reflected in the library's composition. American genealogical sources, including complete runs of virtually all of the major society publications, form the bulk of the library, while English parish registers and the publications of the numerous genealogical and historical societies in England are the next largest group. Books and journals from German-speaking lands make up the third large group.

Virtually every book about Switzerland published in English is included here, but it will take several more years before those published in German, French, and Italian are properly represented.
